He has played a pioneering role in the development of the research department within NCD and is deeply passionate about memory care and understanding each patient’s needs to achieve better neurological health outcomes. His expertise and dedication are so highly regarded that many physicians trust him to care for their own family members.
Originally hailing from Vietnam, Dr. Tran moved to Dallas during his childhood. While initially considering a career in philosophy during his college years, his fascination with understanding how the brain works led him to pursue neurology. Since joining Neurology Consultants of Dallas, Dr. Tran has focused on electrodiagnostics, memory and cognitive disorders, and clinical research, serving as the Research Medical Director for NCD. He is deeply invested in the development of new therapies for patients with advanced memory disorders, among other areas of interest.
Beyond his work in the neurology field, Dr. Tran and his wife find joy in vacationing in Florida and actively participating in their two sons’ Boy Scout troop.
