Kiran Mianoor, PA-C

General Neurology PA

Kiran Mianoor’s interest in medicine is multifactorial, which stems from her love for physiology, its intricacies, and her exposure to working with patients as a bilingual patient educator for preventative services to the underserved population.

Kiran followed her passion by attending UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Physician Assistant Studies. She has spent her PA career, prior to joining NCD, in an inpatient setting in the hematology/oncology department. This experience taught her more than just medical knowledge, but how to have compassion and concern for patients enduring life-changing diagnoses.

Kiran is humbled and grateful to provide quality and compassionate care, education & support on medical diagnoses and prevention, active listening, and empathy to her patients. She stands firm on the belief that everyone deserves exceptional medical care. She is most excited to join the neurology community and grow her knowledge in this diverse and comprehensive specialty of epilepsy, working alongside Dr. Fonda Chan.

Outside of the office, you can find Kiran spending time with family and friends, cooking, running, playing soccer, and studying Arabic.
