Meet Dr. Samir Shah, a distinguished neurologist with over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive care in the inpatient setting.

As a senior partner at Neurology Consultants of Dallas (NCD), he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinic’s relationship with local hospitals.

Dr. Shah’s remarkable journey includes holding a dual fellowship in vascular neurology and neurophysiology, making him an expert in both areas. With a passion for teaching, he has received numerous awards, including his election into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during his sophomore year in medical school.

Over the years, Dr. Shah’s expertise has flourished, leading him to become the Vice Chair of the Department of Neurology at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and the Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at the same institution.

While Dr. Shah is proficient in treating all neurological diseases, his special focus lies in vascular diseases of the brain, stroke, and electroencephalography.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Shah finds joy in exploring new culinary experiences, often trying out new restaurants with his family. His wanderlust also extends to Greece, where he hopes to return one day to relish the natural beauty and savor the delectable cuisine.
