Ryan Cheung, D.O.

General & Vascular Neurology, Neurohospitalist

Dr. Ryan Cheung is a Dallas native and was drawn to the wonders of the brain from an early age.

Driving his passion for the neurosciences grew out of watching several family members suffer from neurologic illness.

Dr. Cheung was drawn to the fast pace of vascular neurology after caring for stroke victims in the emergency room. With the many advancements in acute stroke treatments, he hopes to be able to stop strokes from worsening or reverse neurologic deficits before they can become permanent disabilities.

He enjoys counseling patients and family members on neurologic diseases and teaching them how they can prevent strokes through lifestyle changes, medications, and healthy living.

Beyond the world of neurology, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, hiking, bass fishing, travelling, cooking, and video games.
