Growing up in the close-knit town of Hallettsville, Texas, Rebecca developed a strong sense of community. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Houston College of Nursing, and her journey began as a Registered Nurse in 2015, serving in public health. Through this experience, she learned the importance of individualized care and the impact of preventive medicine in patient well-being.
Later, Rebecca honed her skills in the Medical-Surgical unit at a prominent medical center in south Texas, where she dedicated herself to providing compassionate care to patients with diverse needs. This invaluable experience fueled her passion to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and later led to finding her place at NCD in the Movement Disorders Program.
Rebecca’s devotion lies in geriatric health and preventive medicine. She aspires to make a difference by helping patients and their families lead healthy lives. With a specialty in movement disorders, she aims to empower her patients to maintain active lifestyles, enhancing their overall well-being.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Rebecca finds solace in the great outdoors. You can often find her gardening or playing tennis, cherishing the importance of an active and balanced life.
