Dr. Elizabeth Chambers, a passionate and dedicated neurologist, is fellowship-trained with a special focus on Movement Disorders and related diseases.

Dr. Chambers provides her patients with comprehensive medical care, aiming to treat the whole patient and improve their overall well-being. Her fascination with neurology lies in its intricate nature and the captivating complexity of neurological diseases. She remains committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and takes pleasure in educating both herself and her community.

As a valued member of the Clinical Research team, Dr. Chambers actively contributes to advancing knowledge and treatment of neurological diseases, offering her patients opportunities for further exploration.

Fellowship-trained in movement disorders, she specializes in treating Parkinson’s Disease, various types of tremor, dystonia, chorea, ataxia, myoclonic jerks, and tics. Her expertise extends to Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), from deciding placement, to initial programming and follow-up care.

Additionally, she skillfully addresses dystonia, spasticity, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and migraine headaches with Botulinum Toxin Therapy. Dr. Chambers also has a keen interest in general neurological disorders, particularly dementia, headache, and seizures.

While Dr. Chambers deeply appreciates the complexity and beauty of the brain, her true passion lies in providing exceptional care for her patients. Recognized by her peers, she was honored with the Stephen Damm Award for excellence and compassion in patient care. Driven by the desire to improve the quality of life and alleviate suffering, she remains dedicated to offering the best possible care to her patients, especially in cases where a cure is not yet available.

Outside of her clinical endeavors, Dr. Chambers finds solace in spending precious time with her family, embracing the joys of raising her two children, and caring for her cherished chickens!
