Why Are We Here?
The Neuroscience Information and Referral Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get answers about disorders treated and studied by neurologic professionals. The center provides help and information for the newly diagnosed, those beginning treatment and long-term survivors and caregivers. Staff at the Center can assist with referrals to physicians and services, support groups, screenings, educational seminars and other important community resources. You can also obtain information on neuroscience research and clinical trials through the Centers' list of Web site bookmarks.
What Is Neuroscience?
Neuroscience is the study and treatment of the central nervous and peripheral nervous systems. This includes the study of brain development, sensation and perception, learning and memory, movement, sleep and neurological and psychiatric disorders.

For patients and caregivers who are affected by a neurological disorder, the Neuroscience Information and Referral Center provides numerous support services to patients and caregivers, including the following:
