Steven Gerhardt, M.D., was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Gerhardt received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Following graduation from Baylor, he went back to Nebraska to attend medical school and complete his internship at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Gerhardt completed his residency in neurology at the University of Nebraska Creighton and his fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Texas at Houston. He is board certified in Neurology.

Dr. Gerhardt joined Neurology Consultants of Dallas, P.A., in August 2002. He has a special interest in general neurology, EMG, headache, peripheral neuropathy, back pain and neck pain.

Dr. Gerhardt and his wife Kristi have one dog, a Sheltie. He likes to spend his free time traveling, watching sports, snow skiing and spending time with his family.
