Duc Tran, M.D., was born in Vietnam and moved with his family to Dallas in 1975. He received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Dallas, and then attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship and residency in neurology, and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has been board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology since 2001.

Dr. Tran joined Neurology Consultants of Dallas, P. A., in July 2000. He has a special interest in electrodiagnostics, memory and cognitive disorders, dementia and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Tran and his wife Dr. Cindy Marshall have a son. In his free time, Dr. Tran enjoys playing basketball and driving his pickup truck.
