Connie Lynn Chen, M.D.
Neurologist
Connie Chen, M.D., was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Following the completion of her degree in Biology Dr. Chen remained at Johns Hopkins University to complete medical school. Following medical school Dr. Chen completed her Neurology Residency and Fellowship in Neuro-Critical Care at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has been board certified in Neurology since 2004. Dr. Chen says she has chosen to be a neurologist because, "Of the challenges and need for aggressive neurological care." Dr. Chen joined Neurology Consultants of Dallas, P.A., in July of 2004, serving as the Hospitalist for the practice in order to focus on her primary interests—neurocritical care and stroke. During the Spring of 2007 Dr. Chen will begin shifting the focus of her practice to provide more out-patient treatments while still maintaining a presence in the hospital. Dr. Chen and her husband, Dr. Andrew Pieper, have twin boys. When not working, Dr. Chen enjoys pottery and sculpture. Updated June 2007
